If everyone acts like their way is the only way, you do not have a functioning society. It always leads to chaos that the turns into a dictatorship or worse. If you don’t agree with the way the society works, then work to legally change it, through elections or other institutions. And be thankful you have enshrined rights to do so. The alternate is dictatorship and you do not get to choose which prison, gulag or forced labor camp you get to visit. You are not a law unto yourself. If most people become such there is no law.

When the militias arrived, it will remind me of the Weimar Republic. Groups with weapons fighting each other. I hope the President intervenes before that happens. The radical Left (that includes most Democrats) wishes for Trump to overreact and start killing people so the Left can make them martyrs. Something similar to Hitler’s 1923 failed putsch. He made those who were killed martyrs.

Excellent breakdown. The distinction between anarchy-as-cartoon and anarchy-as-institutional-failure really clarifies whats unfolding in Minneapolis. I remember watching Portland in 2020 and it felt like everyones waiting for someone else to step up, but nobody ever did until things got way worse. The Insurrection Act being a 217-year-old legal tool rather than some dystopian power grab is the kinda nuance most people prolly miss.

Very true, but I thought I'd give everyone a taste of reality regarding what is probably going to happen in Minneapolis.

Thank you for taking the time to read my report.
