Here’s the brutal follow-up. Because apparently history isn’t the only thing with a short memory.

So here we are again. The bombs stopped falling, the ink dried on another half-baked “peace plan,” and just like clockwork, the world’s useful idiots lined up to pretend Hamas grew a conscience overnight.

And now? Now we’ve got whispers; no, not whispers; full-blown bureaucratic backflips coming out of DC that Team Trump is considering rebuilding Gaza without Hamas disarmament.

Let me say that again for the people in the cheap seats: REBUILDING GAZA WHILE HAMAS STILL HAS GUNS.

What in the fresh hell is that?

Oh, I know what it is. It’s the legacy-chasing fever dream of a man who wanted a ribbon-cutting ceremony, not a lasting peace. Trump wanted a Nobel Prize. Hamas wanted a power vacuum. And guess what? They both got what they wanted.

Meanwhile, the bodies weren’t even buried before Hamas went from “terrorists” to “Gaza Security Forces” like some twisted rebrand out of the Al Qaeda Marketing Department.

Same death cult. Different logo.

And now the U.S. is floating the idea of forgoing disarmament because, wait for it; it’s too hard to get other countries on board to do the dirty work.

So instead of annihilating Hamas while we had them cornered, we’re giving them a head start.

Brilliant. Just brilliant.

Let’s be crystal clear. This Frankenstein of a peace plan? It’s not peace. It’s a hostage deal with a smiley face sticker.

You don’t rebuild a house while the arsonist is still living in the basement. But that’s exactly what this is.

And who’s gonna take the fall when those same “Gaza Security Forces” start executing civilians in the street again? When Israel has to strike back and oh look; accidentally hits a U.N. tent filled with Swiss peacekeepers?

We’ve seen this movie. It ends in headlines that blame Israel, martyrs on posters, and Hamas stockpiling more rockets in a mosque while journalists sip espresso a block away.

News flash: This doesn’t make the region safer. It doesn’t protect Palestinians. It doesn’t stabilize anything. It ensures one thing only that Hamas survives. And if they survive, they rearm. And if they rearm, they kill.

The only real path to peace was bulldozing Hamas into the dustbin of history.

Instead, we’re handing them a shovel and some blueprints.

Tell me again how this is progress.

This isn’t peace. This is policy malpractice. And history won’t remember it as a breakthrough. It’ll remember it as the moment we hit snooze on a ticking bomb.

So no. I don’t want to hear about “phases” or “interim solutions” or “security arrangements.”

I want to hear one thing:

Is Hamas gone?

Because if the answer is anything but hell yes, then don’t expect anything to change except the body count.

You don’t compromise with monsters. You end them. Then, and only then, do you talk about what comes next.

But instead of ending the monster, we’re giving it a makeover and calling it democracy.
