Sunny, Great post as you are spot on. I don't believe the woke crowd has the class to wear pearls. I would imagine they will just have to clutch their nose rings.

They can't wear pearls because their nose rings get in the way.

I look at this situation and it is about nothing. It is a ad to sell jeans! Women that look like here have been doing this work forever! I mean everything is not about politics. It does not have to be breakdown of society. For me it is a sign that we are in a fascist state of being. Nothing to do with Democrat/Republican/left/right or other. People must get out of there bubbles and realize there is a life outside of their own bubble. It is now a societal derangement syndrome. All of this 'keyboard outrage' is just distraction for the masses to keep them worried about nothing! It is pop culture people. I was in music the job is to cause a reaction so the folks that came up with the ad and did the casting they deserve a bonus. Eugenics?? The building of America was based on Eugenics. People seem to have forgotten America was built on racism. Folks need to press on the brakes and pick up a few history books.

Not sure I completely agree with everything you say, but I sure am glad you took the time to give me your analysis of the situation. Thank you for that. Sunny

This is what makes the world go round! I am not here for agreement. I am here for spirited open debate. We come from different places and spaces. We have walked different paths. I am open to learning here on The stack. I am not here for the echo chamber syndrome which is rampant everywhere. It is an echo chamber. Thank you for the critical response! I tip my hat to you.

Great article, but I think Sydney Sweeney, like Scarlett Johanson and others before her, may be just a tad overrated. Yes, of course they are both attractive, but they are hardly goddesses. I would put them perhaps in the top 5% at best, but they lucked into fame.

Russell, she may not be #1, but I'll still take top 5%. I do think it's still about the craziest trying to ruin a good thing!

Being in the top 1% myself, I'm hard to impress. :-)

Seriously though, I suspect that girls like this become famous because they are noticed by some top producer -- or perhaps sleep with one.

But that's beside the point of your article, which I agree with. This obsession with seeing Nazism in everything is ridiculous. It trivializes the Holocaust to the point that it could actually be considered a form of holocaust denial, as Alan Dershowitz has explained.
