Call Me Crazy, But I Thought Supporting Terror Was Still a Bad Idea

So let me get this straight. After a terrorist group slaughters innocent civilians, kidnaps babies, and turns entire Israeli towns into ashtrays, our own Democratic leaders think now is the time to reward the behavior with a brand new “State of Palestine”?

Are we handing out states like participation trophies now?

Even the so-called moderates have swallowed the stupidity pill. You know, the ones who used to at least pretend to care about national security, our allies, and basic common sense? Yeah, those folks. Now they’re stumbling all over themselves to signal how “deeply concerned” they are for the poor, misunderstood folks in Gaza while Israel’s digging bodies out of rubble.

Unbelievable.

Let me break it down for the folks in the back:

Hamas runs Gaza.
Hamas is a terrorist organization.
And the last time I checked, you don’t negotiate with terrorists, unless you’re trying to get more dead hostages and blown-up buses.

But sure. Let’s give them a state. Maybe toss in a fruit basket and a seat at the UN while we’re at it.

Here’s what used to be bipartisan:

• Supporting our closest ally in the Middle East

• Recognizing that Hamas doesn’t want peace, they want annihilation

• Understanding that the “Palestinian State” idea isn’t some fantasy Disney movie it’s a powder keg on the edge of detonation

But the Democrats, God bless ‘em, or as they say in the South; “Bless your heart,” have decided to outdo even the Republicans in the Olympic sport of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. And that’s saying something.

They had one job: Stand with Israel.
Not maybe stand. Not stand while tweeting sympathy for Hamas-lite.
Just STAND. Period.

Instead?

• Biden whispers sweet nothings about “two-state solutions” while Israeli families bury their kids

• Chuck “Upchuck” Schumer lectures Netanyahu like he’s his rabbi instead of his ally

• And every leftist think tank in DC is busy drawing imaginary borders for a future terror state

You can’t make this crap up.

And then there’s the true brain trust of the Democratic Party; Ilhan Omar and AOC.

Ilhan “It’s All Israel’s Fault” Omar said, and I kid you not, that unless we’re actively fighting for Palestinian statehood, just saying the words “two-state solution” is empty talk. That’s not foreign policy. That’s activist theater with a foreign flag in the background.

This is the same genius who suggested the U.S. should cut off aid to Israel unless they hand full rights to folks run by Hamas. You heard that right. Hand power to people whose charter still calls for the destruction of Israel. And we’re supposed to act shocked when the rockets fly?

And AOC? Oh, AOC is out here claiming Gaza is witnessing “genocide” and calling on the U.S. to cut weapons to Israel. I guess she missed the part where Hamas is using those weapons and babies as human shields.

Let me ask you something. When did “supporting our allies” turn into “backstabbing them while holding a press conference”?

And where’s the accountability? Where are the hard questions? Where’s the media asking these dimwits how exactly a Palestinian State would not be just another Hamas launchpad?

You want peace?

Here’s a radical idea: Defeat the terrorists first.

Then we can talk about peace.

Until then, stop peeing on our leg and telling us it's “diplomacy.”
