Seventy Percent Say the Democrats Are Out of Touch. I Want to Meet the Other Thirty.
I’ve got one question to kick this off:
Who are these thirty percent and what exactly are they smoking?
Seriously. Seventy percent of voters just told pollsters the Democratic Party is out of touch with the American people. Not kind of off. Not slightly misaligned. Out. Of. Touch. Like full-blown wrong address, different zip code, new planet.
But thirty percent apparently still think this ship is headed in the right direction. And I want to know what these folks are seeing — because it sure as hell ain’t the same America the rest of us are living in.
Do they not notice the price of groceries has turned into a game of Russian roulette? Do they think border chaos is just a Fox News fever dream? Do they enjoy paying taxes so the government can prioritize transgender TikTok campaigns and illegal immigrant hotel stays?
Because if that’s the playbook, then yeah — thirty percent are vibing. The other seventy are yelling, banging on the glass, asking if anyone is still driving this bus.
Here’s what the voters said they actually care about:
- Social Security and Medicare
- Lowering everyday costs
- Making healthcare more affordable
- Creating jobs and economic growth
- Cutting taxes on the middle class
- Lowering crime
- Securing the damn border
Pretty basic stuff. You know — functioning society 101.
Now here’s what they think the Democratic Party is actually focused on:
- Protecting illegal immigrants (only 23% of voters think this should be a priority)
- LGBTQ+ rights (25% support it as a top priority)
- Identity politics (which most of us are sick to death of)
- Climate virtue signaling — and don’t even get me started. You know what I think of the Climate Scam. And now it’s starting to go public. What a farce that whole thing became. Enough said.
- Raising taxes for more “social programs” no one can explain
And here’s a classic: raising taxes for more government programs. Now this one’s been in the Democrat bag of tricks since FDR was still chain-smoking in the Oval Office. Their unofficial motto might as well be: If it’s not working perfectly, let’s give it a government program and screw it up even more.
Not once do they ever stop and ask: is this working? Do we need this? Can we improve it? Hell no. That would require accountability — and we all know that’s scarier to them than a balanced budget. In reality, it’s not about fixing anything. It’s about vote-buying, plain and simple. Keep the programs going, pile on new ones, and never ask how to pay for them. Never ask who gets screwed when the bill comes due.
Just make promises, print money, and pray the voters are too distracted or desperate to notice.
Tell me I’m wrong.
Let’s stop on that identity politics nonsense for a second. You know what most Americans want? To live their damn lives. To be Americans. Not hyphenated morons broken into racial, gendered, alphabet-labeled tribes — each one thinking it’s more oppressed, more special, or more entitled than the last.
We’re tired of the division. Tired of being told we’re the problem. Tired of hearing about equity and privilege and microaggressions while our kids can’t read, our streets aren’t safe, and our leaders act like cartoon villains.
That first one? Protecting illegal immigrants? That was a huge issue in the last election. And not in a good way for Democrats. According to one poll, voters believe the party is spending 26% more effort on immigrant rights than they should. And 54% of Americans overall say controlling or reducing illegal immigration is a very important goal.
So no — it’s not just right-wing hysteria. It’s a real issue. And when the party of government shrugs it off in favor of hashtag diplomacy and sanctuary cities, voters take notice.
Even Democrats are noticing. A Reuters poll said 62 percent of them want new leadership because the current crop keeps dodging the issues that matter most — like paying bills, staying safe, and not drowning in woke word salads.
And still, the response from the DNC? Crank up the identity politics, double down on climate anxiety, and maybe squeeze in a student loan forgiveness press conference between drag brunches.
Look, I’m not here to save the Democratic Party. That’s their mess to clean up.
But I do care about this country. I care about voters who feel ignored, mocked, and gaslit by the political class. I care about people who know what a paycheck looks like, who want their kids safe, their streets clean, and their freedoms intact.
The Democratic Party isn’t just out of touch.
It’s out of credibility. Out of excuses. And if it keeps this up — it’ll be out of power for a long, long time.
Tell me I’m wrong.

Nice work. The Dems are committing hari-kari, one inch at a time. It's an awful thing to watch. OR NOT!!!
