We Elect Leaders. Unelected Judges Overrule Them. Sound Right to You?

This can only end badly when the people realize they don't matter anymore! And most importantly, your vote doesn't matter!

A Denver judge just told ICE to take a hike — sort of. According to the ruling, state law doesn’t let Colorado officials hand over personal information just because Uncle Sam drops off a subpoena like it’s a Christmas card. And yet, Governor Jared “Sanctuary Swagger” Polis tried to do exactly that. Tried to make one of his top guys cough up data on people ICE is sniffing around for. The judge slammed the brakes.

So what do we have here?

A state law that says, “Respect our rules.”
A governor who says, “Let me just override that real quick.”
And a judge who basically says, “Not on my watch, no sir.”

I still say, where the hell do these judges think they have control of the entire government?

Whenever Trump so much as breathes near executive authority, the Democrats lose their collective minds. They run around like their hair’s on fire, screaming “Unconstitutional!” like it’s the only word they know. He tries to secure a border? Illegal. He tries to rein in spending? Dictator. He tweets on a Thursday? Grounds for impeachment.

But when their guy — or in this case, Governor Polis — tries to hand off protected state data like it’s a Starbucks gift card, suddenly it's all sunshine and rainbows. Nothing to see here, folks! Just your average elected official bulldozing state law with a wink and a smile.

And don’t even get me started on the judge shopping. That’s the new sport of the left. Find a bench warmer with a robe and a bias, file the case in their district, and wait for the magic words: injunction granted. Doesn’t matter if it’s good law. Doesn’t matter if it holds up on appeal. Just get the headline. Shut it down. Stall. Obstruct. Repeat.

Which brings us to the slow-motion neutering of the presidency. Because if every time the president flexes a power, there’s a political judge somewhere ready to swing the gavel like it’s a whack-a-mole mallet, what’s left? Executive authority by permission slip? That’s not a republic. That’s a banana stand.
