I heard a helicopter parent say “But how will I contact my child if I need to get a hold
of them?” At the time I thought it a somewhat valid point. In retrospect I should have asked how their parents contacted them when they were in school.
You make a great point L Young, In all of my 13 years of school, starting in the 1960's, my parents never came to school...to "contact me."

In my 13 years in grade school, if my parents needed me theyu could reach the school office. Once again the "pussification of American Parents" reaches new heights of depravity and stupidity.
As I look at our American society, excuse me I meant to say our democrat&republican PARTY society, I firmly believe that "We" are less than ten years away from the republican&democrat PARTY outlawing common sense.
