You ever notice how the same people screaming for tolerance and empathy are also the first to crack a smile when someone they disagree with is murdered? Not just a silent, private smirk either. I’m talking about TikTok’s, memes, fire takes on X, snarky headlines, and Reddit threads cheering like it's a damn sports match.
Charlie Kirk gets gunned down. Before his family can even process it, here comes the online Left parading their self-righteous grief-shaming and snide quips like it's some twisted award show for moral superiority.
The Unholy Parade of Idiocy
Let’s walk through a few of the all-stars from the last few days:
Stephen King, once a horror novelist, now just horrifyingly wrong, claimed Charlie Kirk "advocated stoning gays to death." The quote? Cherry-picked and deleted after backlash. But hey, who needs facts when moral grandstanding is easier?
Crikey editor Cam Wilson basically implied Kirk helped create the political climate that got him killed. The guy died from an actual bullet, Cam. Maybe park your hot take for a moment? Matthew Dowd, a former MSNBC analyst, floated that maybe a supporter’s celebratory gunfire killed Kirk. Just spitballing on national television like this is a game of Clue.
Social Media Ghouls, too many to name, are out here dancing on graves with Hitler memes and clap backs. Funny how they don’t violate community standards. Guess some corpses are more meme able than others.
Utah Governor Spencer Cox decided now’s a great time to remind us that social media is to blame. Not killers. Not extremist rhetoric. But the apps. Got it.
And just to spice things up, we have people blaming a trans partner of the killer, based on a relative’s hearsay. Why deal in due process when you can sling mud with both hands, right?
But Wait, There’s more right on cue, here comes the gun control crowd. Same script, same soundtrack.
"We need common sense gun reform."
"Thoughts and prayers won’t stop bullets."
"It’s time to ban assault weapons." No pause. No facts. Just outrage machine on full blast before a coroner signs a death certificate. These people aren’t interested in solutions. They’re interested in submission. Yours. By the way, it wasn’t even a AR type gun!
And yes, someone actually said: “Gun stores are calm and quiet — unlike America.”
You don’t say. That’s because, dumbass, guns don’t kill people on their own. It’s the person behind the trigger. You want to ban intent? Good luck.
