Well said. My Jewish friends in New York are scared. I'm scared. I live in Philadelphia which is better and mostly run by incompetents vs. obvious antisemites, but my neighborhood thinks it's cool to write "Abolish Israel" on walls and carve "Hamas" into the concrete. I'd love to move but that takes money I don't currently have - I have an incredibly good deal thanks to a family owned house that works hard to keep good people who pay the rent and clean our houses. I've seen for my own eyes in the public schools how kids are not educated at all. To the extent to which there is education it's a lot of 1619 project stuff, but for the most part, the kids just fight or sleep and can't read and write. Tax dollars at work! The whole country is going to hell if we don't reverse this, but at least a lot of us are trying to change direction. Thank you for your post!

I grew up in Philly as well. I grew up and was raised in Melrose Park...Suburban Philly. I loved growing up there and I miss going down the shore. I have been out here in Colorado since the mid 70s.

You have it right on about our education system. (If you can still call it that)

Thank you and have a good evening.

Sunny

Do Jewish typically vote democrat? Maybe this will be a wake up call if so.

Sadly the history shows that the great majority of Jews usually do vote for liberals and their Liberal ideas

Thank you for taking the time to acknowledge my post. I, like you, find this rather disturbing and scary. Sometimes I think we can turn this around, and then I hear people like AOC open her stupid mouth…and I feel like giving up.

Here’s another post I just made about another interesting aspect of this mess we’ve gotten ourselves into.

Thank you, Sunny

Sunny - how long will it be before the NYC financial sector relocates to Miami?

Great thinking. I would say within 6 months after Mamdami would take office, you will see the 1st press releases about a large financial company moving to Miami. I really don't see how the people of New York, especially the Jews, could even be so stupid as to think it would be smart to have a commie Muslim as Mayor! Unbelievable!

NY a gay sanctuary city? Run by a Muslim? I can already see how that will play out.

Especially for people like me with a last name of Roseman! I don't understand how anyone over the age of 2 would vote for someone like him.

You're, of course, right on about the clueless socialist and his clueless teenybopper supporters. But you may have missed the mark about the perennial retread Cuomo. They didn't reject Cuomo because they're 'Indoctrinated' (even though they are), they didn't like him because he's lame. He is bereft of ideas and his moral compass spins like a roulette wheel. He comes from a family of aristocrats who would have eventually made New York into the same impoverished 'Havana' that the other squid would have--only with a more Italian vibe.

Like it or not, 'Antisemitism' is the New Black. I myself was against American foreign military aid to any country since I cast my first vote in 1971. I still am. I don't care what religion or political perspective is involved. Yet, I would be branded 'Antisemitic' in the Big Apple, just like I'd be branded 'Anti-Black' because I don't want to live in the city. I don't want my money stolen so that criminals can kill children. That should not be hard to understand.

At the same time, I could care less if everybody in New York was Jewish or Russian or Ukrainian. I might even like you. But I'm not writing you a check because I already have a use for my money and it has nothing to do with dropping missiles on people I don't even know.

This is a Uniparty issue the smart Democrats are taking advantage of. I may not like his socialism, but I'll buy Mamdani's admittedly lukewarm support of the standard Zionist paradigm.

Like it or not, but this is a great opportunity for mindless Bernieism. Not because socialism deserves another chance, but because all the mainstream candidates universally suck.
